7. Spray diesel on engine 

Too much dirt and moisture in the engine causes rust.  Spray diesel on the engine and  iron  part of the motorcycle. This will prevent rusting. 

8. Re-lube the motorcycle chain

 Probably more than a little bit of cleaning spray or soapy water has been splashed over lubed up parts of your bike by now. Most notably, the motorcycle chain. Re-lubricating before you log any more miles is your best option.
